NO MERCY SQUAD: We all started in high school. It was more of a crew at the time. Later we started laying down tracks and doing club performances, while Q was still in middle school.
N.A.B.: How did you guys come together and gain the name "No Mercy Squad"?
NO MERCY SQUAD: We all had equal talents, very young, smart, and we were never afraid to perform in front of anyone. We were showoffs, even in malls we would beat box an freestyle. A crowd would gather an we would sell our demo CD's till security kicked us out.
N.A.B.: Give insight on the latest work you'll have done? What do we have to look forward too?
NO MERCY SQUAD: "Swagg Water 2" hosted by Coke Boy Droop Pop will be out June 1st. Lucky 7's Mixtape "Swaganomics, "followed by "G7" -G-Netics. LIL Q's Mixtape "Liberty Of A Don" is now available anywhere online Datpiff, Hot New Hip Hop, and more.
N.A.B.: What would you say is different about your music in comparison to what where hearing today?
NO MERCY SQUAD: I wouldn't say different but it does have its originality. As far as sampling vintage 80's music and turning it to new age Trap or Wave Music. Our form of creativity.
